Fractures Chimiques (2021)

Audiovisual performance for 16mm film and modular synthesis in collaboration with filmmaker Charles-André Coderre. 

In Fractures Chimiques the light produced by 16mm projectors is captured using photo-resistors to control synthesizers. This process produces music directly sourced from images causing an unusual dance between the two medias. The audiovisual interaction created in the process offers a sensory experience where every frame can become a musical note and vice-versa.
